Out of the Blue

You are screaming across the alkali flats in Boss Blue’s hacked-together ground-fighter, way over-limit for how many of you are hanging on. The ship rattles bolts off with every loose pit of dirt below. A flash, followed by a deafening crash of metal and plasma a hundred yards ahead.

Oh, bother. You are in for it now.

OUT OF THE BLUE is an introductory hexcrawl adventure designed for use with INTO THE BLACK by Monkey's Paw Games. It is by no means an officially-sanctioned addition to their world, but rather an expression of the outpouring of inspiration it gave me. It contains a self-contained 16-page zine-format adventure within 12 hexes, three 36-item random encounter tables, and a low-to-no-prep setting for a fun afternoon of roleplaying. You'll make friends, you'll mend ties with enemies, and you'll hopefully make a minuscule dent in your crippling debt!

Please grab a community copy if you want to check it out, but by purchasing a copy, you're adding to a fund that will allow me to do a print batch in the near future. Personally, I think this is going to look real pretty in print, and I'm hoping to roll this project into more small adventures, games, and zines.
