Anti-Imperialist Bundle & Physical Copies

The town of Krotak is the last settlement before the Shadow overtakes the western lands. Despite its proximity to the cursed occlusion, it is a thriving and peaceful place. When the Shadow emerged, it wholly enveloped the seat of power for the Tyrant King Lyrica, liberating the fertile farmlands at the outskirts of his domain. The farmers and tradespeople who were so commonly subjected to his cruelty built up Krotak as an independent community, and it has blossomed into a tight-knit, self-sustaining settlement.

Typically, imperialism is not so clear-cut, and the lingering effects are more pernicious than a bad guy in his tower being a jerk in a fantasy game. Around the world, and in our community of writers and artists, the daily impacts of colonialism can mean food insecurity. It can mean a lack of social and healthcare resources. It always means systemic oppression and injustice based solely on people who amass power for themselves and leave the rest to suffer.

I encourage you to check out Lucas Rolim's Anti-Imperialist Bundle (and grab his brilliant MiniBX). Yes, I know, I put a PDF in a bundle, what philanthropy of me! Well, hold on just a second. There's a second part to this update.

THE DUNGEON NEAR THE SHADOW is in print for the first time and it looks great! I've been carrying it around and showing it off for a week like a proud papa. Additionally, I just opened a brand new webstore, where you can buy yourself a copy! If you do so, I'll put the bulk of the proceeds back into the Bundle. Regrettably, I can only do this through my store for US customers at the moment. Imperialism!

Not in the US or Canada (it's coming to Monkey's Paw Games shortly)? Donate to the bundle and send me a screenshot and I'll do my best to get you a copy. I have a couple ideas that'll vary by region, but won't work with my store. We'll figure it out!
